About Eric Bigham FCCA

Eric Bigham FCCA is an ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant and the founder of Bigham Consulting, a specialist leadership consulting and finance transformation advisory firm supporting business founders, C-suite leadership teams, and funding partners including banks, venture capital, and private equity firms.

We combine top-tier consulting methodologies with proprietary diagnostic tools to deliver data-driven analysis, current state assessments (“AS IS”), strategic financial planning, target operating models (“TO BE”), and forecasting. We also advise on the implementation of Enterprise Performance Management, bespoke digital dashboards, custom online accounting systems, and governance solutions tailored to investor and regulatory requirements.

Our expertise has been forged through over three decades of hands-on leadership in practice, industry, banking, and consultancy. This foundation covers everything from advanced financial modelling in Microsoft Excel to open-source database management, PHP server-side programming, and user experience design—ensuring we can bridge strategic finance and practical technology delivery.

Eric’s career spans over 30 years, beginning in audit and advisory practice where he delivered more than 100 engagements across commercial, regulatory, and non-profit organisations. His experience evolved through senior roles in financial control, strategic planning, and consulting—culminating in a reputation for tackling complex, politically sensitive, and high-stakes transformation challenges.

Recognised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as a thought leader, Eric has been invited to deliver multiple international keynote addresses on finance transformation, governance, and leadership. A graduate with Distinction from Kingston University, he brings not just technical expertise but also the communication and leadership skills to align diverse stakeholders and deliver results.
